WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER STAGING?

For viewers, seeing a property with nice furniture and accessories can feel much more welcoming than an empty property. Some viewers find it difficult to picture an empty space as somewhere they could feel at home. Staging a property can lead to a quicker sale and a higher sale price, according to the Home Staging Association of UK & Ireland in their Home Staging Report 2021.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The more notice you can give us, the better. Do get in touch to have a chat about what you require, and it may be worth us visiting the property. If you have detailed floor plans and photographs this can speed up the process and may mean a property visit isn’t necessary.

WHat do i need to prepare for property staging?

Property staging works best in properties that are clean, freshly decorated, with carpets and flooring in good condition, if not new. The addition of furniture and accessories makes the property feel homelii without the time and expense of buying all the furniture and accessories yourself. If you’re refurbishing, we find that matte white walls and pale grey carpets work best.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE INITIAL SIX WEEK PERIOD?

We will contact you during week 5 to see how things are going and how close you are to a sale. If the property is under offer then we will arrange for the uplift of the furniture and accessories as planned at the end of week 6. You can also request to have it removed early. If the property is not under offer by week 5 then we can discuss extending the rental period and how much this would cost.
